Activities
Everyone deals with mental health on a daily basis and we can all feel unwell with our mental health sometimes.
Using a resilience framework and play-based activities to help build knowledge about mental health and create language skills around this often-isolating injury.

Our goal is to provide children an opportunity to think of knowledge around living with a parent affected by an Occupational Stress Injury as a superpower and strength.
Learn About Occupational Stress Injuries
-
Talk to the children about what we all have in common in this Empowered Warriors Kids camp – that each one of us has a parent dealing with an occupational stress injury.
-
Teach children about what an occupational stress injury is and discuss the differences between visible and invisible injuries.
